Would He update it daily with His latest selfie and trending hashtags like #feeding5k or sporting His latest garment purchase? #newsandals Would He flaunt His disciples’ many accomplishments? #castingoutdemons

When we look to Jesus we see perfect HUMILITY displayed. Jesus never broadcasted His accomplishments...

Sometimes we don't always understand why things happen in our life. Why we make decisions that hurt the ones we love, why we always have to learn the hard way or why, when we do everything right, things still don't fall into place.

17 YEARS.

We freaking made it.

Ya know, when you are standing at the altar you aren't really thinking of what the "worse" could entail from the “for better or worse” part of your vows. 

But 17 years in...well, we’ve been to hell and back. 

We share our story to encourage others because there were times we felt like there was no coming out of it. 

For us, it was betrayal, secrets, lies, unfaithfulness. Even if your struggle...

ANOTHER rebound. 

Another binge episode that lead into weeks of not working out that lead into more binge episodes and I fooled myself into believing that I was just happy and comfortable in my “new” skin. 

But as I sit here I must admit that I'm holding back a couple of tears as I look at the picture on the left.

Girl!!!!!  If I can tell you anything, it's that you need to cling to the truth of God's word!  Let me back up, don't cling to it, ABIDE in it!  For when you abide in it, THEN when you need to claim the truth, you KNOW it to cling to!

Let me break it down for you!

The bible says in John 8:31-32 "If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free....

Why don't they just got ahead and say it, right?  Like it would be so much easier to get it out of the way and be TOTALLY transparent about how we really feel about each other.  I guess that's why I have such a hard time with "Christians" who say they love,  yet venon runs from their veins!  I'm just a little more transparent than that.
